Product Description

With the ability to juice an 8-ounce glass of juice in five seconds, this 850-watt professional juice extractor features a powerful computer-controlled 14,000 rpm motor, which easily maintains the selected speed when juicing under heavy loads. Its Italian stainless-steel, micro-mesh filter separates the juice from the fiber and seeds of the fruit and vegetables so that maximum juice is extracted. To cut out all preparation time required for juicing, the unit's unique, extra-wide, centrifugal feed chute allows for whole fruits and vegetables to be added without the need for chopping them into pieces first. The juicer's two-speed electronic control offers low speed for juicing soft fruits and vegetables and high speed for more textured fruits and vegetables. For quick, easy clean up, all the juicer's parts are dishwasher safe except for the motor, and for added convenience, a disposable plastic bag can be used to line the large pulp container and then thrown away when finished. A 1-liter juice jug with a froth separator and a large-capacity, 2-1/2-liter, easy-to-clean, removable pulp container are included. This is a factory-reconditioned juicer which includes a 90-day manufacturer's warranty. Always make sure the Juice Fountain is properly and completely assembled before operating. As a safety mechanism, the unit will not turn “On” unless properly assembled. Always turn the Juice Fountain “On” to the low or high setting before adding any vegetables or fruits with the food pusher. The motor of the machine must be completely running to ensure proper and full use.

EXCELLENT JUICER! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

This juicer far exceeded my expectations. I chose Breville over the Jack Lalanne juicer because I heard bad reviews about Jack Lalanne's juicer. I had a champion juicer that a friend gave me to use, which is an industrial type juicer. The champion was a good juicer, but I was only able to juice a few things before I had to pull it apart and clean it out. With the Breville, I can juice several things before it requires cleaning. You can actually fill up the juice catcher before it needs to be cleaned. The only con about the machine is that you can only juice hard pieces of fruit/vegetables for 4 minutes, then you have to give it a 1-2 minute break before you can juice more. That's no problem though if you're like me and don't juice a lot of hard fruits, or vegetables. Other than that, this machine works better than a champion. It also has a very large neck, so you can juice an entire apple without having to cut it up. It's terrific! I am so happy with my purchase!

I use this juicer every day and have not had one single problem with it. It's powerful, easy to assemble, and easy to clean. I generally hand wash, but occasionally top shelf dishwasher clean all but the filter (this I always wash by hand). Since I usually make "green" drinks using greens, celery, apples, and lemons, I have reason to use both speeds (low for the greens) and both do just I need them to do. So far I haven't been able to put an entire apple down the chute (your apples would have to be relatively small ones to do this), but how hard is it to cut them into quarters? The lemons fit down whole, no problem.
Very happy

I found this Juicer to be excellent and well worth the price. The large intake tube accepts everything I have wanted to juice without any cutting, while the powerful motor breezes through whatever it comes in contact with. I will also note that cleaning has not been an issue, I just run everything under the faucet, the dishwasher has not been necessary. Good buy.
Excellent taste, very efficient, but where's the fiber?

I never realized how much fiber you get from eating and apple until I saw the "waste" that comes out of this thing! I bought 10# of different kinds of apples to try this baby out. I mixed a stalk of celery a few carrots and some apples and COULD NOT BELIEVE how good it tasted.
Our 18-month-old drank a whole glassful without stopping to breathe, and then he wanted more! It HAS to be good for you, as you ingest all of the vitamins of the fruits and vegetables, but unfortunately you lose most of the fiber, which is essential for your health, too. Lots of calories, little fiber, so be careful you don't get fat!!!

They suggested putting some of the pulp in a baking tin and covering it with merange and baking it. It sounds great, but I haven't tried it yet. I ate some of the pulp and found it fine, but my wife found it disgusting. I hope the novelty doesn't wear off too soon...

One this is for sure - I will NEVER buy a processed bottle of apple juice again. They filter EVERYTHING out but the calories! Where's the nutritional value? I'd rather drink just plain water - not that there is anything wrong with that.

Thanks for the earlier recommendation to get the more powerful version. The 13,000 rpm seems to get out most of the liquid from the pulp, but I've never had a juicer before, so I'm not the best judge.

It cleans easily, too. There is a stiff brush included, and if you rinse it off right away, cleaning is simple. I've used it a dozen times.
The parts are top-rack dishwasher safe, but they don't fit in my top rack, because they are so big.

Having two speeds is a huge plus, so you can do soft fruits and hard fruits (oranges or apples, respectively). If you do an orange at high speed, for example, it sort of slings half of it into the pulp container.
It Does Everything I want

This juicer has two speeds, so I can juice anything at all. If you put a plastic bag in the pulp receptacle, 95% of it ends up there and you just throw it away. The plastaic just rinses off. I can juice an entire liter in about 5 minutes or less. A great bargain.
